Mississippi Beauties

The tragedy of breeder dogs is that they often spend years making puppies to put money into someone's pocket.  The puppies, hopefully, go to loving homes while their mothers and fathers live sad, neglectful lives without ever knowing what it is to be a cherished pet.  We recently were approached by a Mississippi couple who wanted to relinquish some of their older breeder dogs to us and we welcomed the chance to help.  We were told there would be four Goldens--and seven frightened Goldens arrived!

Aside from one puppy (which the breeder said was "defective" because he has black markings) all of the Goldens range in age from 5 to 8 years.  The girls arrived terrified but their sweet personalities are beginning to shine through. Craving attention, they are eager to start a new life and these girls will blossom into wonderful Goldens!  If you would like to adopt one of these lovely dogs and give them their best years, they are ready to be loved and to learn just how good a dog's life can be.

We will post and update the dogs as we learn more about them.  So be sure to check back frequently!
Thank you to our donors who help us care for these beauties!
