SGRR and J&L GRR, our sister rescue in the south, rescue Goldens of all ages and conditions. We do our best not to turn a Golden away because of their medical situation. Naturally, this results in extraordinary medical expenses. By making a donation of any amount, you can help us save more lives and improve the quality of life for a deserving Golden.

Specific DonationsThere are several ways to honor human and furry friends and family by donating to SGRR to help a dog get the love, care and treatment he or she deserves, perhaps for the first time EVER!
Rainbow Bridge: Here you can pay homage to a beloved furry companion who has passed on. You can remember your friend by posting a picture (optional) and/or making a dedication that describes how you feel, or states a simple "in memory of". You can also honor a friend/family member's much-loved pet who has "crossed the bridge". What better way to remember a cherished pet than with a donation to SGRR to save an animal's life. Tributes: Here you can honor a valued friend or family member celebrating a birthday, anniversary, promotion or just say "thank you" with a heartfelt dedication. With a memorial tribute, you can remember a beloved family member, friend, or dedicated animal lover who has passed away with a message expressing your thoughts. Matching Donations
Please check with your employer regarding the availability of matching donation programs! We will gladly complete any forms/paperwork needed to participate.
Sponsor a Dog
If you would like to provide for the care of a particular dog's needs, you may sponsor that dog. Please use the Paypal “single donation option” or mail a check into the PO Box listed. We will then note you as a sponsor on the dog's dedicated bio page. We thank you in advance for your generous support!

SGRR Helped By The Petfinder Foundation
Sunshine Golden Retriever Rescue is proud to announce that we are the recipients of a grant from the Petfinder Foundation. The Petfinder Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to ending the euthanasia of adoptable pets. SGRR received this award from Petfinder’s Emergency Medical Fund to provide costly eye surgery to relieve the pain Mickey, our recently-rescued, blind, 8 year-old had suffered. Thanks to this grant, Mickey is now living pain-free in his forever home.
