Located in the Albany, NY area, Peppertree helps find homes for dogs in need who represent the character & temperament commonly associated with Golden Retrievers friendliness, intelligence and a peaceful, loving nature.  Peppertree is an off-shoot of  GRROWLS-NY, which continues to assist Goldens and almost-Goldens in upstate New York.

With projects in more than 40 countries, IFAW provides hands-on assistance to animals in need, whether it's dogs and cats, wildlife and livestock, or rescuing animals in the wake of disasters. IFAW also advocates saving populations from cruelty and depletion, such as their campaign to end commercial whaling and seal hunts.

Gingerlead Harness

The GingerLead is a soft, padded belly sling with a leash & handle to help dogs with weak hind legs walk.  Ideal for dogs recovering from knee or hip surgery, dogs suffering from degenerative myelopathy or other debilitating ailments, or older dogs needing some assistance getting around.  It is easily used by passing the support sling under the belly and bringing the straps, which extend from each end of the support sling, together with the attached padded handle.  TheGingerLead is made in the USA and available at www.gingerlead.com.  You can view a video on how to use the Gingerlead on their website.
