Chester
Chester is another pup that was turned into our rescue by a couple in MS who dabbled in backyard breeding. He is about 6 months old and is a beautiful red purebred Golden Retriever. He is a shy fellow and has done well being fostered together with Sunny. Therefore, the two dogs are to be adopted as a bonded pair.
Chester has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and is heartworm negative. He weighs about 50 lbs and is still growing. He has been given a Proheart 6 injection that provides 6 months of heartworm prevention.
Chet has an adoption pending but he hopes you will consider one of our other deserving dogs.
Rescued dogs come with a range of needs - from behavioral to emotional to medical. When approved applicants adopt such dogs, they agree to continue the rehabilitation we have begun.
