This is where Sara was rescued. Her home was
the shack to the right and her play area was
nothing more than dirt. She was alone and
never brought in the house. Sara did not know
what a hug or kiss was-until she was rescued.
She was taken in by a foster by the name of
Tracy who became very attached to her sweet
personality right away, she wanted to adopt her.

After Tracy fostered Sara
for a long time and Sara
started to heal, she was
transported up north to
Connecticut and put in
the foster care of Rusty,
who was himself a
rescue dog, and his mom
Kris.
Sara could not smile at
first, she used to hind her
self in the corner. One
day she was found
between a table and love
seat, hiding. Sara was
sad and scared.
Sara and Rusty hit it off
the minute she came in
the door. Sara seemed to
like dogs better than
people, but then again
she did not have allot of
interaction with people,
only Tracy.
Sara loved playing with
Rusty and they always
got along. They were a
perfect match. Sara
always knew when Rusty
was in pain and she
would not bother him
until he was feeling
better. They were both
very happy.
Sara was smiling all the
time.
It seemed like this was Sara's last stop and she could unpack all her baggage
but the story was to take a surprising and happy ending. Come back to see
the ending--it was a real surprise to everyone how things came together.
Email from her adopter Mitsie:
Well Sara's name is now Ally... Ally from Alabama. She
has discovered the joy of hiking in the woods and
swimming. She is quite the water dog! I have attached
a few pictures of her playing in the water. She's been
twice - and each time we see a glimpse of the dog she
is underneath her phobias.
She had us laughing so hard
the first time she went swimming - she was jumping
around like a 9 week old puppy.
Her crate is down in Benny's room and when she has
had
enough she walks in it and takes a nap. She is
settling in well.
Sorry for all the pictures, I had a hard time picking
the best few...Amie is the photographer.
Thanks for trusting us with her care,
Mitsie
